Jay and Christy Williams sat in the stands at PNC Arena on Sunday and smiled at the thought of how much fun their son, Cameron, would have had on a day like this.
There was plenty of cheering for the Carolina Fury, North Carolina's electric wheelchair hockey squad. But there was also a bittersweet feeling among those who remembered a special 15-year-old boy and his love for the sport.
Cameron Williams died in October from complications related to muscular dystrophy. Sunday's game, an exhibition against the Carolina Hurricanes staff, marked the first time that his parents watched the Fury since his passing.
