There are some great games this week. Pit/Bal, SD/GB, Phi/Chi, TB/NO NE/NYG, Cin/Ten, NYJ/Buf. All of these are great matchups and big games come playoff time. This could be the overall importance/best week of the year.

The next few weeks are loaded with some huge games in terms of playoff position and tiebreakers. Looking at some of the games in this second half of the season, I think the NFL is going to be very happy with their scheduling committee.

It really is working out well for them because a lot of the records are not what anyone expect from about 2/3's of the league.

And looking at their (non-Thanksgiving) Thursday games where a lot of people won't get to watch, the matchups they are missing aren't that great. NYJ-Den, Phi-Sea, Cle-Pit, Jac-Atl, and Hou-Ind. I think the only matchup that people may be disappointed in missing is the first one, Oakland and San Diego.
  7. mod's why is this a sticky thread?
