He may own a national championship pedigree and it may just be summer league. But that didn't stop first-round pick Marquis Teague from surveying the scene like any good point guard and, well, being human about his professional debut.
"Yeah, I have some butterflies," Teague said before the Bulls' opener against the Celtics in a late tipoff at Cox Pavilion. "But once I get on the floor, I'm always OK."
That seems to be the consensus thus far about the first-round pick out of Kentucky, who will be counted on to play a more significant role until Derrick Rose returns from knee surgery.
