Recapping the indignities from the Red Sox [team stats]' latest loss, 5-3 to the Baltimore Orioles last night:
• After carrying a no-hitter into the sixth, Aaron Cook threw one of his signature sinkers into center field on a surefire double-play ball that would have ended the inning. The error helped fuel a five-run Orioles rally.
• Left fielder Carl Crawford watched as Mark Reynolds' two-run double sailed over his head, putting an exclamation mark on the Orioles' big inning.
