It took a while, but Thomas Robinson could finally smile after a game.
The second half of the Kings' summer-league finale showcased more of what the Kings believe they have in their first-round draft pick.
Robinson shook off another bad start, missing his first six shots, to make 6 of 8 after halftime as the Kings beat the Boston Celtics 91-82 Thursday in the exhibition at Thomas & Mack Center.
Robinson and second-year guard Jimmer Fredette had their struggles in summer league. It just took the rookie longer to have a solid outing.
"About time," Robinson said. "It took 41/2 games. It was cool. It broke eventually. It was good. I finished with a solid game. The second half was decent. I started hitting shots finally."
