The New York Islanders announced today that forward Blair Riley has agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract.
Riley, 26, scored 11 points (seven goals, four assists) and added 77 penalty minutes in 55 games last season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League (AHL). Before joining the Sound Tigers, the Kamloops, BC, native began his second pro season with the Chicago Express of the ECHL, recording 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 15 games.
