I read he wasn't being released. If so, sounds more like a Keyshawn situation. He is taking his ball and going home.
  4. ACC Rulez SRMer

He was not cut....just going to stay home. He is still on the Mavs roster and is available to be traded in the off-season.
  5. cmnelson1987 SRMer

As was stated, he isn't being cut. He's just going to be listed as inactive the rest of the season. And then he hits free agency this summer.
  6. ACC Rulez SRMer

yea, I think his contract is partially guaranteed next year....which may proove to be an asset to a team wanting to dump some cash.
  7. cmnelson1987 SRMer

According to SportsCenter, he's a free agent after this season. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

Nothing worse in sports then a quitter. What a spineless bum.

Dude's had a lot of personal stuff go on this year. I wouldn't say he quit. I don't know if mentally he can even put two and two together. Family loss is horrible to deal with, and I imagine with the damn circus his wife brings with her everywhere, grieving processes are still kicking his ass. Not to mention watching a cyclist essentially die in front of you, in an accident you were a passenger of. It's been said he hasn't always played his hardest, and I agree. This time however, I have to cut him a break.

This has been an awful year for him. I wouldn't be shocked if he goes back to LA, which LA team I'm not so sure. I think the clippers could end up going for him. I really thought he'd work out great for the Mavericks, but they are just a very deep (and old) team.

    Think about it...

    -Odom comes home.
    -Kardashians shoot another NY season.
    -A NY/NJ Wrestlemania.
-Odom joins Humphries with the Nets, who are looking for 'star' power.

.... Khloe vs Humprhies at Wrestlemania!
  13. cmnelson1987 SRMer

Keep Odom with the Knicks. Kim and Kris get back together. Have a tag team match of Khloe/Odom vs Kim/Humphries. But, Kim turns against Kris and hits him with a steel chair, thus signalling their second divorce. But, Humphries fights back and has Odom down for a pin, but the ref gets knocked out. While Humphries is trying to get the ref back up, Odom gets up and hits him with a Lamarbomb. Out runs Robert Kardashian with a ref shirt on, and he counts the 1-2-3.

Gotta work a Kanye run in there somewhere and its Wrestlemania gold. Right up there with Savage/Steamboat & Bret/Austin

I guess if you say one thing on air and the other online, you're bound to be right on one of them lol

They could get Snookie to come out and beat up Kim and Khloe to represent New Jersey too
  18. MookStunna SRMer

That's the best post I've seen in months.
  19. TyKixx SRMer

As a NJ resident, I am obligated to tell you Snooki is not from NJ.

Why is her show called Jersey Shore then? Honest question, as I am proud to say I have never seen an episode (never seen an episode of the Kardashian show either).
  21. TyKixx SRMer

Cause they stay at Seaside at the Jersey Shore. Snooki is from NY.
  22. KMoney Administrator

From everything I've heard about that show, they are all from NY if I heard correctly. Plus isn't only one of them Italian? Yet the show is basically seen as the dirty Italians of NJ.
  23. TyKixx SRMer

I believe 2 or 3 of them are from NJ

I would love to see Lamar as a Laker once more. We kinda need him at this point to make a real push for a championship
  25. ACC Rulez SRMer

Maybe next season - can't happen this year. Really thought Lamar was more of a professional prior to all of this.....now his rep has gone to crap......I guess when he comes back with the Lakers (or the Clippers) he will relocate his game.....but his whole attitude has shown a side of him we never knew.
  26. TyKixx SRMer

While I was joking, I do actually think NY (Knicks not Nets) & Miami could be possibilities. He loved Miami. FWIW, Khloe used to live there. They are obviously good, plus the city itself has become trendy. He could take less $, but also pay less taxes. What is the Mike Miller contract situation like? Maybe they'll even be getting back their MLE (or maybe not)
  27. gco211 Moderator

What do you mean get back their MLE? Either way, their mid-level is about half what it used to be due to the new CBA.
  28. _illapeeno SRMer

No way Lamar ends up back on the Lakers, he got his "feelings" hurt after he was almost traded. Miami or NY.
  29. TyKixx SRMer

Isn't that how it works, you get it back once the player you used it on is gone. I thought they used it on MMiller, thus I asked about his contract status.
  30. ACC Rulez SRMer

You used to get it every year and it was the same for all teams over the cap....now it is tied to the luxuary tax...kind of a way to restrict teams from just piling on and piling on salaries after they hit the cap, but still give them the MLE. It is not Tied to the contract status of the player you used it on. Here is something I found:
