The Maple Leafs signed a pair of depth players on Tuesday, inking forward Keith Aucoin and defenceman Simon Gysbers to one-year deals.
Gysbers, the top scoring defenceman with the AHL Marlies last season, will earn $600,000 if he makes the NHL, $90,000 with the Marlies.
Aucoin, a six-time AHL all-star, will make $650,000 in the NHL, $350,000 in the AHL. The 33-year-old play-making centre split his time last season with the Washington Capitals and Hershey Bears.
