The "Free Trevor Bauer" movement is almost over.
Bauer, the Diamondbacks' highly touted pitching prospect, will make his major-league debut here on Thursday against the Atlanta Braves, manager Kirk Gibson said on his weekly radio segment with KTAR.
Bauer, the third overall pick in last year's draft out of UCLA, posted a 2.23 ERA with 116 strikeouts in 93 innings between Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Reno.
