The Los Angeles Kings signed forward Dwight King to a two-year contract, the team announced Monday.
King, who turned 23 earlier this month, had 14 points (five goals, nine assists), 10 penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating in 27 regular season games in 2011-12. He was recalled by the Kings from AHL Manchester on Feb. 10 after tallying 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists), 20 penalty minutes and plus-6 rating in 50 AHL regular-season games.
