If the Kings are to become a surprise team and challenge for a playoff berth in the upcoming season, most of the country will need to monitor the box scores or purchase the NBA League Pass.
The league announced its 2012-13 season Thursday and the Kings, coming off their sixth consecutive losing season, won't get much national television exposure.
The Kings are scheduled for four nationally televised games, all to be aired on NBA TV. Two of those games will be against the Jazz (Nov. 24 and Feb. 4 in Utah).
