Jacobs remembers NFC title game play
Realizing it's a sensitive subject, 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs doesn't bring up last season's NFC Championship Game unless his new teammates raise the subject.
The problem: The 49ers won't let it die.
On Thursday, Jacobs, a member of the Giants last year, said a popular topic remains a controversial call that occurred late in the fourth quarter of New York's 20-17 overtime win.
With the score tied with 2:21 left in regulation, Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw appeared to be stripped of the ball by linebacker NaVorro Bowman and safety Dashon Goldson recovered at New York's 18-yard line. But official's ruled Bradshaw's forward progressed had been stopped. No fumble.
