According to a source, the Indiana Pacers will match the four-year, $58 million offer made by the Portland Trailblazers to free agent center Roy Hibbert. The news was first reported by The Star's Mike Wells.
Hibbert was expected to sign the Blazers' offer on Wednesday -- the first day free agents can sign deals with teams -- if the Pacers did not match.
Now, it seems, Indiana has made its bid to lock up its center for at least four more years in Indianapolis.
