Great game from a Flyers' perspective, we deserved to lose this one with how we played in the first. That said, what is Kovaluchuk doing right now? I know he's not feeling good, and I love that he wants to play despite being hurt, but someone has to stop him. He's completely ineffective right now.

In that case we don't deserve to be in the playoffs, because the Flyers have not played well in the first period since December.

This has been just about the worst game the Flyers have played all season. They're just dead out there - it's painful to watch. Bryz is the only reason we're in this game - he's stopping everything.

This was more painful then watching the Phillies offense (didn't think that was possible). Flyers didn't show up at all tonight. Also, if you're going to fork out $200 bucks a pop to go to one of these games at least make some noise. The team is dead & the fans are going to sit in silence through a 1-0, 1-2, 1-3 game? Make some noise.

Yeah, I didn't see the Flyers look that bad in all their games I've seen... they got manhandled last night... Bryzgalov is the only reason that wasn't a 9-1, 10-1 game... it was great to see Adam Larsson in there, and contributing.

I wonder if Kovalchuk being out had something to do with it. When Neal was suspended for Pittsburgh & the Flyers were heavily favored they got throttled. Usually they bounce back from games like this with a really strong effort - if that doesn't happen I'll start to hit the panic button a bit.

Hard to argue against it, Clarkson thrived on the 1st line, after doing next to nothing in 8 games, they got 2 goals from the blue-liners last night (Larsson is their best 2 way defender)... I don't think it is a slight against Kovalchuk, because he is far from the greedy "do it myself" player that came here from Atlanta, but he isn't right, right now, and him moving out cleared room for others to contribute.

Devils are a bad night by bryzgalov from a 25-2 victory... They have outplayed the Flyers in all 4 games, and Bryzgalov is the only reason they aren't emptying their lockers yet.

Oh well. They had a good run. I've been feeling pretty lousy since they lost Game 4... but I mean, without Giroux, this is basically over.

It sucks because we're more talented and deep than the Devils, but they just completely out-muscled us all series. If Pronger had been around, things would've been different.
