With a league championship freshly won, filling Donatas Motiejunas with the confidence and optimism that comes with a mix of success and youth, he set his sights on a loftier goal.
Motiejunas took aim at the NBA.
"I was trying to improve every day something," Motiejunas said in a telephone interview on Thursday from Poland, a day after he helped Asseco Prokom to a Game 7 victory for the Polish league title. "I want to be a perfect player. That's a lot of work and a lot of effort, but we will see. Hopefully I will be one of the best players."
