Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish and Cardinals third baseman David Freese continue to lead their respective leagues Wednesday morning in the 2012 All-Star Game MLB.com Final Vote Sponsored by Firestone, but no lead is considered safe with a record 30 million votes already in and an expected ballot blitz through Independence Day and up to the 4 p.m. ET close on Thursday.

The American and National League winners will earn the 34th and final roster spots for the 83rd All-Star Game on Tuesday in Kansas City. Voting began at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday after five nominees were presented by managers Ron Washington of the AL and Tony La Russa of the NL, in conjunction with MLB, and the winners will be announced on MLB.com shortly after the ballot closes.
