The Celtics formally announced Tuesday that Keyon Dooling has re-signed with the team. The C's also announced the additions of veteran center Jason Collins along with guards Jamar Smith and Dionte Christmas. The deals for Smith and Christmas are not guaranteed. There was no word yet on a new deal for Jeff Green, who agreed to terms in early July on a four-year contract for a reported $36 million.
Dooling and Collins both signed one-year deals for the minimum, bringing the total number of guaranteed contracts for the 2012-13 season to 12 players, not counting Green. Smith, Christmas and second-round pick Kris Joseph will be in training camp on deals that are not fully guaranteed.
