    Yeah Modern Warfare 3 should be great. I really don't like that they release games so fast. It's so much better after waiting and anticipating a game. Although I hate waiting, it does make it much better. I'd also love for them to actually take their time and not rush it out and spend more time to make it better and make campaigns longer than 5 hours.

    Like right now the wait for Gears of war 3 and Grand theft Auto 5 is killing me, but once they finally come out it's going to be so much better after waiting.

    You must have been playing against some real idiots or newbies if you camped in their spawn. I guarentee that shit wouldnt happen against people who know how to play. People shoot random rpg's on every map. I can agree with the napalm strike though. Maybe the reason I like the map so much is because I like action, I dont have the patience to sit there and camp and wait for people to run by where im at, I go find the action.

    I'd love for there to be a gameplay that had small maps like Nuketown, Shipment and Rust. It totally eliminates the ability to camp, and for people who hate camping, it would get a lot of use. I, for one, really lost interest in playing Black ops alot once they took out the ability to keep voting a map for than once. If people want to play the map, let them play.

    On MW3, be warned that there are two other studios helping Infinity Ward this time around, due to the massive departure of employees last spring. Because of that, I am cautiously optimistic about the game. However, considering that, by and large, Call of Duty online hasn't changed since Modern Warfare, I doubt the game will stick with me.

    Have you heard anything about the guys who left IW in regards to them creating their own game?

    Shipment and Rust are great private match maps but the online community ruined them for me multiplayer wise. On Shipment you had Frag x 3 and Martyrdom and Rust had Danger Close and One man army tubes.

    Just using them as examples. I would love to have a team deathmatch mode that had small maps. It would be interesting to say the least, and next to impossible to camp.

    All I've heard is that the new company is making an "action adventure game" and that it is an extension of the franchise- not replacing IW. What that means and entails, I dont know.

    I wish they had 1 hit, and that you could choose the weapons you want to use. Not that I hate non 1 hit, but it gets frustrating when you watch the kill cam and their bullets are killing you when you watch them hit the ground, or the wall next to you.

    Like Golden Gun from Bond? One in the chamber is fun but whoever is host gets a huge advantage.

    I have heard rumors that people with lesser connections get larger hit boxes in this game. I don't know if this is true and i don't care to go back and watch my kill cams from my enemies' perspective (theater mode).

    Anyone here play a lot of hardcore TDM? I would play that exclusively if they showed kill cams. Since they don't I stay away because most players camp and you don't know where you got killed from. Hardcore FFA in black ops might be the biggest joke of all because you when you die you can spectate where each player is located. It is one thing to watch a kill cam but another to see the location of each enemy. A happy medium would be a simple kill cam.

    I played for the first time yesterday in a couple weeks. I got destroyed, this one guy camped out (at least that's what my teammates we're crying about) and he had like 45 kills and 2 deaths haha. I don't care enough about being the best at this game so I wasn't mad, but hearing my teammates nearly in tears was worth it.

    I would like to see how you guys rank the Call of Duty games since Modern Warfare. Since I mentioned a couple small maps from other games, it got me thinking of the previous ones.

    I was not huge into the last two. I play black ops more than I did World at War. But, I guess it's how I am, when it comes to TV, Movies, etc I rarely like things that take place in the past unless it's like mafia stuff.

    Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2, World at War.

    If any of you have never played COD2 I suggest picking it up. It is under $10 and the sniping is easy/fun. It can take a while to get an online match started since not many people play.

    Eh maybe if I played COD 2, 3 before I played Modern Warfare it would be a different story. I picked them up after World at war to try them out, and they seem so far behind now. Seems like another generation ago compared to where they are now.

    Still good games, but like I said better off playing them before the newer ones.

    For sure. In COD2 you can't sprint or lay prone and the feel is completely different to the newer games. The first and third COD games stunk. Treyarch struck out 3 times before Black Ops.

    I thought World at War was the best of the bunch, but it was damn close with Modern Warfare. I just thought that with all the bolt action and semiautomatic weapons that World at War took more skill to play. That, and I loved almost all of the maps (and bouncing bettys.) I can't believe that it doesn't get a lot more likes from gamers, as I've posted this on a couple different places.

    Yeah, bengals is one of the better players I've played with. We did work when we played together.

    As for ranking the games, I think Black Ops, MW, and MW2 are all pretty even. I would probably but BO and MW slightly ahead of MW2. WaW is far behind all three of those IMO. The only thing I liked about that game was Zombies, which I really like. But if we're ranking online, WaW is a distant 4th for me.

    Thanks! You are a good strategy player so you're good at the domination, capture the flag type games I noticed. An above average player overall though, which is why I enjoyed playing with you.

    Add my other sn, my roommate and I play on it so it's not just me. He camps alot......

    YES. thank god. I am so disapointed with MW3. So much so that I gave in and bought battlefield 3, which blows mw3 out of the water. I loved black ops, so if it is simply an improvement over Treyarch's last version, I'll be more then pleased

    ^That's interesting.

    But I've come to expect a good MW game and then a crappy one every other year. I tend to side on the IW or what's left of IW side of things. I think Treyarch doesn't do the game title justice. Neat, they have Zombies. If I want zombies I'll go play L4D.

    I'm pretty happy with MW3 as a game. Still waiting for the new Rainbow six in 12 mos.

    I loved modern warfares campaign. I think I'm one of the only people in the world who enjoys and prefers the campaign over multiplayer. I want Battlefield 3, but I'm waiting for my backlog to go down, or I'll try it from gamefly and possibly keep it.
