Finding out who will be the No. 1 pick in the NHL draft is always an anticipated part of the annual proceedings. But the possibility that a perennial 30-goal scorer could be on the move is really something to chew on.

If the rumors that are surrounding the Ducks prove true, they might make the most noise on the draft floor of Pittsburgh's Consol Energy Center on Friday, and it will have nothing to do with selecting a player. And that could be a tough thing for their fan base to stomach.

Multiple reports have the Ducks at least listening to trade offers for winger Bobby Ryan, which has fueled the belief Ryan, 25, could be had if a team is willing to pay a significant price. Similar talk occurred last November before the club publicly pulled Ryan off the market.
