Defenseman Ryan Murray, the No.?2 overall pick in the NHL draft by the Blue Jackets, signed a three-year entry-level contract yesterday.
If Murray makes the team this fall, he will get a base salary of $925,000 per season. But if he achieves all of his bonuses, he can earn $3.525 million per season.
"It's good to get it done and signed and out of the way," Murray said. "Now the focus is getting ready for training camp and getting ready to compete for a job."
