Any news about iPad mini or iPhone 5?

It will be interesting to see if they bring out the iPhone 5 in August. As for the iPad mini, Jobs was adamant about not shrinking the screen. He is gone now, but to go against what he felt so strongly toward may not fly within the company.
  2. About JObs not wanting to make a smaller screen - Yes I know he wanted to avoid it, but I think with the desire of certain individuals wanting a smaller version and with the forecasted sales should Apple come out with the mini, it's too large to let this buy. If Apple creates the mini, it could have an effect much like when the Zune was released and Apple still dominates the market. I know Jobs talked with Cook on his final days and I could have sworn Jobs told him to make it his own. If I was in control of this business, I'd definitely jump right into it.

Yea I guess my post should be considered more tongue in cheek. Obviously, he is going to have to do his own thing now that he is running the show. I happen to like the screen size as it is.
  4. I think in some circumstances the current screen size works well, but the 7 inch one would benefit others such as myself as I find the iPad a little bulky and I need something slightly smaller. I love the Nook Tablet, but obviously does not do as much as the iPad does. I would gladly get the iPad mini should it come out for the public.

Side note, it's actually likely to be a 7.85" screen, which is significantly larger than the 7 inchers in the Fire and Nook. It may not sound like much, but it makes a difference.
