When he went to the NFL's Rookie Symposium in 2005, Adam "Pacman" Jones did not heed the advice and messages from the program.
Seven years later, Jones is hoping that this year's class of rookies will not make the same mistakes he did.
The Bengals cornerback will be one of the speakers at this year's symposium, which will be held outside Cleveland. NFC rookies will attend June 24-27, with AFC rookies to follow June 27-30.
"I'm at a point in my life where I'm not doing the same things that I used to," said Jones during the Bengals minicamp this past week. "Now that I'm grown up you are accountable for certain things. Everything you do reflects on you and the consequences are yours."
