3 up, 3 down: Quintin Berry continues to spark Tigers' offense

    1) The Tigers have recently been one of the best teams in interleague play, and that tendency has continued this year. The Tigers' 10-7 mark was among the top 10 in the majors and the best among all AL Central teams. With only one game remaining on the interleague schedule, the Tigers are guaranteed to have a winning record against the NL for the sixth time in the last seven seasons.

    2) Quintin Berry, a .267 career hitter in seven minor league seasons, continues to be a spark plug for the Tigers' offense. Berry had a five-hit game against the Rockies last Sunday, added two more hits against the Cardinals on Tuesday, and then had the game-winning hit in the 10th inning on Thursday to beat the Redbirds. "I've never had a walk-off before," Berry said. "I showed it out there, jumping around, acting crazy. You don't know what to do with yourself."
