Never mind. Found it. Thank you J-Pass. I made a few mistakes in my draft. I should have picked Parker over Terry and why I didn't get Marc Gasol again is beyond me. My team wasn't as strong as it was last year so I'm going to have to do a better job drafting next season.

Turnovers=Keep them

I was going to make a move the final day which would have ousted you in the Semis, but with the injuries my keepers had, I knew I wouldn't win the Finals....so, I didn't pull the trigger.....but CONGRATS...you reign will end next season.

You can't be scared to make a move in the playoffs. If I'm not mistaken, you got LaMarcus Aldridge which was a very nice pickup for you and definitley a keeper. If I didn't make the move then KMoney would have beaten me which reminds me. A shout out to KMoney, he was a 6th seed that took me to the final day to beat. You were a tough opponent my friend..

As far as my reign coming to an end? I have every intention of going for the three-peat. I got lucky this year but I need to prepare better for this years draft.

Yea, I know...I was going to drop Elton Brand on the last day for Matt Barnes....and with his totals on that day....I would have passed you, but i figured at the end of the day that i had no shot in the finals because 3 of my keepers were hurt....Brooke, Lopez, Kobe and Kyrie Irving...it would be like going to a gun fight with a razor.

Turnover in Fantasy Basketball are stupid... Anything you dont have the chance to make up in fantasy is stupid. Once you turn the ball over you can't make it back up. Pts/Reb/Ast/Stl/Blks/FT%/FG%/3PM

It's currently 3 people in favor of killing off TO's (Woody/ACC/TyKixx), and 6 would like to keep them alive (J-Pass/Mello/Archer/Rattler/KMoney/CMNelson). Bengals/S2000/Scoonie haven't voted yet, but at best, they'd make it a tie, which isn't a majority.

DECLARATION: We're keeping TO's for the next season! Woohoo! WE DID IT! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!



Also, not to burst any bubbles, but right now no trades can be made. Sometime Mid/ENd-Summer (whenever I did it last year), I'll be asking all you guys to name 6-8 provisional keepers, and sometime pre-draft, we'll cut that number down to 4. I can't recall if we decided to change any keeper numbers, I don't think we did, but we can always discuss it. I don't like making huge changes to a keeper league every season, so hopefully we can stay the course.

I vote Kofanis gets back in then we revote. KMoney will also change his vote.

Your opinion has been considered, and now you're up against majority rule. If you want to start your own league with your own rules, you are absolutely welcome to do so. Otherwise, get off the leagues dick. Thanks.

It would be considered tampering in my book to start PM'ing favors in to Kmoney to have him join your side. Kofan is currently not in the league and if is allowed back in, won't be done so within the timeframe of us making league decisions.

We could always go the Mello route with TyKixx. Maybe Kofan will want your team.

I have no real authority? I started this league. This is my league. Before me there was no basketball league. I started this from scratch and have maintained it and grown it to where it's at now, which in my mind, is the best league on SRM. I allow democracy to rule because I'm a just commissioner. I'm getting sick of you attempting to commandeer the league at your own discretion.

I don't know how it will be perceived, but I'm seriously starting to consider banning you from the league. I didn't just decide we should keep TO's. Everyone chimed in with their opinions. Them's the facts. I've given you every chance to comply and simply be like, "Oh fine, schucks, we've had TO's since the beginning, I guess it's fine that we keep them."

As of now, we have discussed the turnover issue. I see no need for it to be brought up again at a later date this off-season. If anyone changes their mind about them, we can begin discussions about it again.

None of this is very accurate except for your lack of authority. You set up the Yahoo website, get over yourself. This isn't your league. Itt is the SRM league. It is our league. With that said, my reference was to you having no authority to prevent me from talking to my friend and then somehow claim 'tampering'. Nothing has even happened. It was an off hand remark that I am certain KMoney will find amusing. I am not going to start PMing everyone trying to 'tamper' with the vote. I am not trying to 'commandeer' anything.

Like the NFL Draft thing, I simply offered a suggestion. I didn't even realize you said 'fuck it' and gave up. Not sure why, I was hardly harassing or bullshitting you. Same with this league. What I take seriously is the integrity of a league I have put a lot of work into. I'm the commissioner, I have authority. However, I choose to use it justly for the sake of the league.

I'm understanding your tone better in your beefier posts. I don't like being Mr. Serious, but that said, you telling me that you're going to somehow have Kmoney change his vote, and add Kofan prior to the add date, just so he can agree with you as well... that's just not kosher.

FYI (I felt the need to clarify). This isn't just my league. It's all of ours league. It's mine in a sense that I brought it to life, it's my greatest contribution to this site. It's mine in a sense that I didn't just set up the Yahoo Website, I set time-frames, conduct the draft, and deal with league issues (like this one right now!).

It's become our league through all of you guys contributions and it wouldn't be the best league on the forum today without each and every one of your passion and effort to be great GM's. This site went years without a basketball fantasy league until I decided to bring it together. I think we started with only 8 GM's, but look at where we're at now. We've got 12 of the most active owners on the site and in a few more months, we'll probably be at 14 teams should we expand and allow for more owners.

I'm proud of what I've done for this league, and I don't appreciate my devotion and effort being downplayed as much you've done. It's a lot more than setting up a website.

I've been running a keeper baseball league longer than I've been a member of this site. It's a pretty simplistic league, no keeper values or anything like that, just you have your set number of keepers and then we fill the rosters with an offline draft. Nothing fancy. And that still takes a lot of time as a commissioner. Checking rosters to make sure someone isn't trying to keep someone that wasn't even on their roster, setting time slots, keeping up with the draft and trying to have communication with every during the draft, all that stuff adds up. As commish, you don't have the luxury of just checking in when your turn is up in the draft. Even if Tykixx didn't mean any insult with his comments, I can understand why it is insulting.

That comment was clearly in jest. I have no control or expectation what so ever for Kofanis to be instantly added to the league. I also have no mind manipulation over KMoney (who's vote wouldn't even matter at this point I believe). And for the record, if I wanted to pitch my reasons to him as to why I thought we should get rid of turnovers it is no different than my posting that led to ACC (I believe it was) changing his vote. There is no shady backlot dealings going on. You over reacted to that comment as well as the authority comment.

Also, I have actually accepted the fact that TOs will remain...almost instantaneous. It was quite obvious I didn't have any overwhelming amount of support. I had an opinion, I pitched my idea, it was discussed, I threw out some reasons why I felt the way I did. Ya dribble and ya shoot, you hope for the best. I didn't run around crying, threatening to quit if I didnt get my way. I'm not going anywhere (by choice or otherwise honestly). I never once even remotely thought about quiting over TOs or not getting my way.
