since the new update w/ the news reports.
i can't access this site on my blackberry, it only loads the top screen and none ofthe threads.
has anyone else experinced this? |

One thing I must say is that the news reports are boring for the most part. They are very brief and are missing added personality/informative reading.
I just feel like instead of writing "so and so signed with the dodgers" via ESPN.com, add your own little flavor to it. Put some personality to it!!

Just an update.
Some of you may notice a "PLUS" next to the additional news in the featured section.
I am going to be working on that over the next 24 hours to actually get that to work on a permanent basis. So if you click close once, it will set a cookie so the next time you come here the additional news will not show.

Ok, you can now COLLAPSE the additional news by clicking the "MINUS" next to the additional threads and it will be stored into a cookie. It will remain collapsed from that point on until you change browsers or clear your cookies.

Google and other major search engines love these type of posts. I know most of the regular members are going to read stories on a lot of other websites, but the idea is getting that content on here so search engines will rank us higher for specific search terms.
Hopefully all the opinions are going into the replies and just the snippet(or more) from the news source is going into the main post.
Again, we will continue to play with this addition to find a middle ground for current users, new users and of course our search engine spider friends.
