So, great festival, huh? That 35 minute instrumental jam by (insert hippie band name here) was transcendental. So do you like cock meat sandwiches, or what?
Works every time.

Radio show-TV-Being Glenn Beck with tits and all she offers is a "I'll suck your dick smile" Palin is not smart. Funny, witty or deep. Well, maybe in a couple places, but nowhere that will benefit anyone but Todd.
If Palin were just the victim that Living says she is, the GOP would not be lining up to strip the meat off her political bones. This chick is Oprah lite. Without the billions.
Sorry for all you "last great hopers out there. Palin is not your savior.
That is all.

her best move "for the party" is probably to just do the talk show circuit. She can limit her speaking to sound bytes to sound un-retarded and stay in the public eye without being integral enough to draw fire or make the christicans think she's their Luke Skywalker.
I still think she's just burning up her fifteen minutes. I just can't see men continuing to back her based mostly on the idea that they want to fuck her, and I can't see women supporting her knowing that their husbands want to fuck her. Sex appeal in this country for women is a very placist high-wire. We love putting them up there, but we love it even more when they fall. There'll be another scandal coming at some point. Either Bristol will get pregnant again, Willow will be arrested as the mastermind behind the Wasilla meth distribution, or Sarah's husband will get caught doing something or say something monumentally stupid, something so dumb it will make the Katie Kouric interview look like the Lincoln-Douglass debates. If you really look deep down, it is remarkable she made it this far. The above seems very plausible and most likely scenario of the future. A family like this is a gold mine for tabloids, it is only a matter of time.

STSAGS - You arguments are infantile and as emotional - sources are posted (if needed) in almost every one of my posts.
Even then, you chose you own reality (Like saying we can only use erroneous King James Bible, not the numerous improved and more accurate versions that have been translated since our limited intellectual base of 1610. And how about discounting the US Constitution online? or FBI statistics?)
The point is that you Pick and Chose the independent sources you will recognize and bring NO SOURCES of you own to the table.
It's not just my opinion, these quotes from others apply to you in almost every thread. Quote:

Right now, I see a Mitt and Newt (2 funny names) as the current potential leaders of the Right in 2012. Moderate Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and possibly Virginina Bob McDonel are candidates as well.
Huckabee, Jindal, Jeb Bush, & Fred Thompson are likely done, just not as done as Palin.

It's all right there, sources and all. All you had to do was look down. Quit with the BS distraction and say something worth while instead of ranting and raving.
BTW is was more like 65 billion, I guess that is peanuts to you. Still no word, as long as capitalism is working to fuck the poor and make some rich, it is okay with you.

2)That was an online opinion piece about the US Constitution, don't try to pretend is was a factual straight up piece of work.

One man completely disregarded all of the rules of the system, and now capitalism is broken? So if somene commits murder, is the legal system broken too? Who fucked the poor again? Sstags, seriously, you are so completely out of touch with the average person and reality in general that it's not even worth it to argue with you anymore. Really, if Bernie Madoff is your microcosm of the way modern capitalism works, I am truly sorry, but I really don't think you could find even one person in a hundred who shares that same belief. What really confuses me about you is that you talk about your life experiences as if you're someone who is at least well into their 30's, but then you turn right around and say stuff like you just said as if you're a 19 year-old college student who just read Das Kapital and is ready to take on 'the man.'

At one point, she suggested she was quitting because people had made cruel remarks about her baby Trig, and at another, she seemed to be saying that she was being forced out for being too effective, and also because various ethics investigations into her administration were wasting public dollars. Listening to her talk in furious circles, it was hard to say whether a) some new scandal was about to break, b) she'd had enough of politics, thanks, or c) on the contrary, she was only getting started and was quitting to run for president. With a $7 million book advance and supporters who would love her regardless, she in any case didn't need the job, and my money is on d) she just plain felt like it.
| That was not in the Boston.com article you posted. Show me where you got this. You quoted it in your post, so it had to come from somewhere. Quote:

Here's the quote and the statistic: Quote: |
Thus far, federal investigators have identified 1,341 investors in Madoff's firm, who have losses exceeding $13 billion. They're still tallying the damage. Victims have until July 2 to file a claim with U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York.
| Here's the thread with the article: Mad-off gets 150 years in prison
Do I feel for the people who lost their money? Yes, but I feel for them as much as I feel for the guys who spend their last twenty on smokes and scratch off lottery tickets. So you believe capitalism doesn't work because one guy swindled $13B out of investors who did not do their due dilligence on the guy's investments? You ever hear that phrase, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"? Well, that's what we got here. I'm not condoning what Madoff did, but any person that believes they can get 10% year in and year out without any risk is incredibly stoooopid and naive. Nobody averages 10% annually.
This Ponzi scheme fails in comparison to Social Security.

Newt's the guy you put up front to get annhilated early and shield the real candidates. Newt (bare with me) got most of the fanfare he got off of charisma. Contract with America was mostly fluff, smoke, and mirrors. However, Newt proved he couldn't out-charisma Clinton on multiple occasions. He damn sure couldn't get the spotlight off of Obama. As for Mitt I still say that there's absolutely no way that the Christicans will vote for a Mormon. I think they'd have fewer "family values" issues voting for a Catholic or Jew. Those other guys you mention are also dead in my opinion.
For the record, I talked with someone over the weekend that went to high school with Marc Sanford. She was not surprised and said that his wife had known about his infidelity for some time.
It's like I keep saying the person in the GOP who will pull the sword from the stone will be the first person to call Rush Limbaugh a fucking idiot at some point. That's the only way the moderates and undecideds will even consider a Republican, and probably the only way the 'base' will shake itself awake.
Whether someone will nut up and actually do it, and then not apologize for it remains to be seen.

Whether someone will nut up and actually do it, and then not apologize for it remains to be seen. | I agree with about 95% of the stuff in this quote. The republican party has zero leadership at this point. The guy they put out there to run in 2008, I don't know who he was, but that was not John McCain. Whoever he was, his job was to roll over at take one in the stink while the party regrouped and looked forward to 2012. Unfortunately, I don't think the party really looked any further forward than November 2008. Palin? She never should have left Juneau. I will tell you what is going to motivate voters the most in 2012- their wallets. Lots of folks right now, they aren't happy one bit. Unemployment keeps going up. The defict just keeps rising. California is paying its bills with Monopoly money. The base, moderate Americans, they want only a few things- they want a paycheck, and they want that paycheck to be as fucked with as little as possible. Everything else is ancillary. This cap-and-trade stuff, it doesn't really speak to most folks. Healthcare is only important to folks who don't have it. If it meant less quality to those who do have it so that others might get it, well, that doesn't really fly with most folks. Unless this administration settles down and starts tackling one problem at a time, 2012 will be anyone's game. But for now, it's the economy, stupid.

Historically, it's always been about the economy except for when W won. Obama has two and a half years to fix it. And I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it: if he fixes it, and if he gets a healthcare program that doesn't suck, there's nothing the Republican party can do. They'll continue to lose Congressional seats and will probably have to splinter and reform as a party.
I just don't see how they can come back from the financial meltdown, and then fighting the stimulus bills tooth and nail like they did only to lose that fight if those stim. bills succeed in their intentions.
I'm pretty sure that sentence doesn't make any sense, but whatever. Hopefully, someone understands the attempt.
For survival sake the smartest thing they can do is find a healthcare plan to back. Some form of health care reform/NHI is going to pass, they've either got to try to be constructive or risk losing enough seats in the next election to become functionally irrelevant to the debate.
