Default Playoff MVP... so far (NHL)

I'm curious what you guys think. I know a lot of people are talking about Franzen... But Osgood is undefeated... Of course I had to add other teams to keep it fair.
Skaters................G....A...P
Johan Franzen DET 12 3 15
Daniel Briere PHI 8 6 14
Evgeni Malkin PIT 6 8 14
Sidney Crosby PIT 2 12 14
Brenden Morrow DAL 8 4 12
Mike Ribeiro DAL 3 11 14

Goalies.....................W L GAA S%
Marc-Andre Fleury PIT 8 1 1.76 .938
Martin Biron PHI 8 4 2.72 .914
Marty Turco DAL 8 5 1.89 .924
Chris Osgood DET 7 0 1.45 .939

I have to go with Osgood. no loses really says something about him. Yeah I would also be happy to see the mule win it. but The Wings were in trouble till Ozzie stepped up.

Surprised no one has put a reply here. I guess it must be the same for everyone- either Osgood or Franzen. I have to give Osgood the award right now- he righted the ship against Nashville and was lights out against Colorado. Now, it remains to be seen what he'll do the rest of the way, but if both Franzen and Osgood keep up this pace, I think Osgood barely wins it.

As I've said before elsewhere, it would be really nice to see Ozzie get some respect at last....The guy has already won one cup, but everyone acts like he's skating on thin ice (so to speak), and will be yanked as soon as he lets in a soft goal.

The guy has a GREAT attitude, has put in the time, has paid his dues, has REINVENTED himself as a goalie, and it's time now for him to reap the rewards.

Ozzie all the way. He might not have saved the series against Nashville, but he had an awful lot to do with it--and he's been stellar since then.

Let's get a Cup winner first, shall we? I think Osgood and Franzen are the frontrunners now, but if another team wins it all, their guys will have a great case.

The title of the thread DOES say 'so far,' so I don't think we're ready to award that trophy right now.

By the way, don't know if anyone saw the game tonight, but The Mule was a scratch with 'concussion-like symptoms.'

And Ozzie was GREAT--that jackass Turco is taking a lot of liberties with his stick and his glove--and I'm almost certain that Ribeiro is going to get a suspension of at least a game or two for the stick slash into Ozzie's chest after time expired.

I have to be honest, too, because I resisted responding to this thread initially because I didn't want to jinx our chances. But if Ozzie doesn't feel the need to grow a playoff beard, I suppose I shouldn't be superstitious, either.
