Default Chester Taylor carted off at Vikings camp

Chester Taylor was carted off the field Tuesday after suffering an apparent right arm or shoulder injury.

Taylor "appeared to be in a lot of pain," according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. His status should be updated by Brad Childress later in the day.

Initial reports are that Chester Taylor's injury is a forearm contusion.

Usually players aren't carted off the field for a contusion, so continue to monitor this situation. Taylor was later seen riding an exercise bike and didn't appear to be wearing a cast.

It's nothing but this frickin heat here. I was just outside and you can barely even breathe. They need to be careful and make sure they don't end up with another Stringer scenario in Mankato.

Chester Taylor is only expected to miss "a couple of days" of Vikings training camp with a forearm contusion.

They brought out a cart for a bruise? Taylor was in good enough shape to ride his bike back to the team's practice facility, so he should be fine.

Chester Taylor is 1/2 of our offense. If he goes down our already anemic offense lost one of our only 2 playmakers on offense. I would bring out a cart for him if he had a hangnail.
