You must have talked to your brother that you claim is a rank that it is impossible for him to be with his very little time in service (That's in AR 600-8-19 if you are interested)? I'd bet money that he was actually in the service because no one that knows anything about Enlisted promotions would make such an outlandish claim. If he is he is probably a Specialist. Is that what the SPC thinks I do with the description you gave him of me? LMAO. An "Army Reserve Warehouse supplier"? I'm neither an Army reservist or a warehouse worker and I don't think such a thing even exists but I'm very excited that you are so worried about me personally that you had to take the conversation from sports directly to the personal level.

Through these 86 starts give me Brett Favre all day, and I hate Favre, yes Favre threw 7 more INT's but he threw 39 more TD's which usually means that he would have won more games.

YPA- Means nothing, nothing, arguing that is pointless. A QB could throw a quick slant that the receiver(s) make a big play which could substantially raise this.

When debating QB's you should take into acct. QB Rating, Yards, TD's, INT's, Completion %, and Wins.(I know wins arent really fair, but it is what it is.) Atleast this is what I would debate with.

Also to use the completions/Attempts I think is a mute point as well, because obviously Favre came from a Pass first Offense compared to Ben's Run first offense, so obviously Favre should have more Attempts, but really all that does is show how much more effective Favre was since he had only 7 more picks but having 543 more attempts, so to be honest I would say Favre is far more superior by the things you posted.

Agreed. I think the differance in the league then also isn't getting looked at.

I took the top ten passers this last year. They threw an average of 4351 yards and 29 TDs. So basically they are saying that there are 5-7 QBs that they could say are better than Brett Favre was in 97. I hate Brett Favre as much as any player in the league right now but I can't drink that koolaide. Ben was definetly one of the top 7 or 8 QBs this year but comparing him to a Brett favre that was in his prime? Craziness.


EDIT. in 1997 the top ten rated QBs threw for almost 3270 and 23 TDs (The TDs are a little skewed becuase of Favre's huge number). The stats aren't exactly comparable bececause the games played are probably a tad bit off but this shows the clear differance in passing. What is good this year was amazing in 97.
