It's alarming how good New Orleans is offensively. For the 3rd week in a row, they basically played one half of a game and still are going to win convincingly.
How do you stop a team that's this deep at the skill positions with a quarterback who can throw two or three picks a game and still end up hanging 30 on virtually any defense in the league.
And Tommie Harris's composure and sportsmanship should be the model for every player coming into the league.
Seriously, Tommie bought himself a nice unpaid vacation today. What he did was down there with Albert Haynesworth cleating the offensive lineman in the face several years ago. On the second play of the game, he punches Kurt Warner in the back of the head while lying on top of him after the play was over. Luckily the officials caught it and tossed him. I'm sure Goodell is going to have something to say about it tomorrow.
The other thing that really is rattling around in my head right now is do we really have to play out the rest of the season in the NFC to know who the playoff teams will be?
The winners of three of the four divisions seem certain:
West: Arizona
North: Minnesota (bye)
South: New Orleans (bye)
The NFC East will send Dallas and Philly to the playoffs. It's just a matter of who gets the home game and who starts on the road.
The final wild card spot looks at this point like at the most competitive it's a two-team race between Atlanta and the 2nd place team in the West, which has a much easier schedule than the Falcons.
I'm not saying let's not play the games out, but does anyone here feel like there's another team that has a legitimate chance to rally their way into the postseason in the NFC.

I think it's a bit early to count out the Giants completely, though their chances are fading quickly.

Somebody with a 10-6 record in the NFC is gonna get hosed.

Why on earth should MLB implement instant replay, the NFL can't get the calls right with it!
