Bills Where is Terrell Owens this season?

Owens fell off his career numbers last season, but the hype machine kept going with his signing with Buffalo. Not even these numbers could make Owens humble, as he was quoted about a week ago along the lines of, "If I finish this season with higher numbers than Roy Williams, I will be happy."

Through eight games:

Receptions: 23
Yards: 281
YPG: 35.1 (73.1 career)
TD: 1
YAC: 2.9 (5.4 career)
11 catches for first downs

Just plain awful.

I had him on my fantasy team, but i just cut him before last game. So I'm assuming his numbers should go through the roof anytime now.

As much as many people don't like Owens, he still looked pretty quick on that TD run last week or so. The biggest problem is the QB situation in Buffalo. Just look at Lee Evans, the guy is a really good receiver yet he can't get anything consistant.

Owens still has some left in the tank. If he lucked out and was dealt, I'm sure he'd put up respectable numbers. Sure they are declining but the guy is still better than ALOT of guys out there.

I think he's leading the league in drops, but he is still playing for the team with the 4th worst QB situation in the league.

What's new? He has always dropped a ton of passes. To me that is the thing that knocks him down from the top group of WR's.

Instead of catching passes, TO is comforting himself by comparing his lousy stats to Roy Williams lousy stats. Go figure.

Just how far has Owens fell? Im sure the QB situation doesnt help him out, but seriously you think you would be able to help that situation out just a little bit.

If you drop 30% of the throws that do come your way, how much CAN you help?
Ask Roy Williams the same question...

Lee Evans is still the best receiver on that team and quite possibly the most under-rated wide receiver in the league.
