Makes sense for the Ravens. Joe Flacco is their #1, with Troy Smith as their backup. Plug in Beck as the third string guy. He knows Cameron's system from the year they spent together- that's a great quality to have in your third guy.

Could someone explain to me how the Dolphins gave up on John Beck in about 5 minutes after making him a first-day draft pick? Is he that bad, or does management just have a really big hard-on for Pat White's ability to run the Wildcat?

He is not a Parcells type QB, and if you are going to try to teach a dog new tricks, make sure your "new Dog" isn't Jesse from Family guy...

... At Beck's age, he was essentially this "new dog"

They have Henne.

Where does Beck fit on the roster?

i'm shocked Reid's fat-ass didn't jump at the opportunity to add another 3rd string Mormon QB to his roster. I guess he's still emotional about having to cut Koy Detmer after all those years.

Did you notice how Reid' s family went to shit after Koy left? He either put some crazy Mormon curse on Reid and his family or he was a counselor just as much as he was a backup quarterback.
