| Your Ramblin' Wreck is doing a number on the Teprs so far. Maybe there is still time to turn it around. Don't start looking for Hewitt's replacements yet.

| I am still keeping an eye out after watching that second half. I have never seen a D1 team struggle that badly to inbound the basketball. They are the most jekyl and Hyde team I can remember seeing. That being said they held on when they had to. I think they will be in now that they have 21 wins. |

Rep Power: 0 | | San Diego State now in after beating New Mexico.
If Minnesota beats Purdue tomorrow we could see 6 teams from the Big Ten. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Houston just stole a bid.
Illinois, Washington, Rhode Island, and Minnesota all right on the bubble.
All 4 teams have opportunities to win games against a good opponent. |

| I think they will give Va. Tech's bid to one of the ACC Teams (Miami or NC State) if they happen to win the conference. It makes things easier for the committee.

| Yes, Houston just did. I think Miami or NC State also can do the same....and even New Mexico State in the WAC.

| They truly had some trouble getting the ball in against the press. It was funny. But, on the other hand, there was some great athletic defensive plays made down the stretch. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run into the NCAA's.

| With Houston taking a spot and with the possibility of New Mexico State taking one....the loss might have seriously hurt them.

Rep Power: 0 | | Lunardi has Washington, Minnesota, and Mississippi State as the last three teams in. Illinois is the first team out. Remember, Washington is up 4 at half and I think Cal would get an at large. The would bump Miss State out, and Minnesota can either win or lose tomorrow. A win and they'll be in. A loss....it may be between them and Illinois. Of course, this is all based off Lunardi, who is usually right about the teams but not always right when it comes to seeding.
Oh and Mississippi plays Kentucky in the SEC final. They might need to win to get in. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
