Rep Power: 33 | | I guess this pretty much means that no home field in the finals.
You gotta hope that we don't face the Blazers in the playoffs.

Rep Power: 14 | | The losing at Portland continues, the Lakers had their chances to pull ahead in the last quarter. The Lakers are 2 behind the Cavs with 2 games left and the Cavs with 3 games left I don't see the Lakers being able to catch them for the overall record. The Lakers are guaranteed the second best record overall by owning the tie breaker with the Celtics.

| The inconsistent play by many of the players keeps shining through. I like Ariza but he hasn't been doing much lately. Also, I'm starting to like Shannon Brown over any of the guards not named Kobe.

| There's a reason why he's the first guard off the bench. I was watching the game online through KCAL and they were commenting on a pregame interview with Brown. The only reason why he wasn't playing any minutes before was because he was still learning the triangle. Once he learned it he got the minutes. Sasha has been finally hitting his shots which is a good sign. If Portland holds on to the 4th seed it'll look like we'll play them in the second round it's a good thing the Lakers have the home court.

Rep Power: 14 | | It's good to see Fisher, Sasha and Farmar end the season on a good shooting night maybe that'll give them confidence going into the playoffs.

Rep Power: 28 | | Utah up first. This may take more than 4 games, if only because the Jazz play well at home.

| Sasha yes. I don't know about the other two. Did you mean Luke Walton?

| I cringe every time Fisher or Farmar shoots the ball but Farmar had a decent shooting night from the three. Fisher finally hit some shots. I wouldn't mind starting Brown and bringing Fisher off the bench along with Odom to provide stability and playoff experience to the second unit. Lamar has been playing great recently he's probably playing for his contract.

| | Quote: | Sloan Doesn't Like Utah's Chances Against Lakers
After losing 125-112 to the Lakers on Tuesday night, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan isn't very optimistic about the team's chances should the two teams meet in the playoffs.
"We didn't give them much of a battle, knowing we have to play them again," said Sloan. "It looks pretty bleak...
"They have a terrific team. They have guys who can pass the ball, do about anything you ask a team to do. They've got guys who can make big shots, who just know how to play the game, make the game look simple...
"We're just like a little dent in the road, far as they're concerned. They're very comfortable playing against us and obviously should be." |

| I'm predicting a 5 game series. Boozer doesn't look 100% he can't finish the way he use to.

Rep Power: 14 | | Lakers got sloppy in the second half but were able to hold off the Jazz and win easily.

Rep Power: 28 | | Great games by Ariza and Brown. They need to do a better job on the defensive glass though.

Rep Power: 33 | | And who would have thought Shannon Brown would be the most consistent point guard. I am starting to feel more confident in him than Fisher. Farmar barely got to see the court at all last night.

| Where the hell did it come from is my question?
He literally had trouble dribbling the ball up the court in Cleveland. |

| Kobe's a better teacher.
Actually, I just think it's confidence. He looked tentative when he first got to L.A., but he hit a few shots, some threes, and is feeling it now. I think he's also taking better shots, and his shooting percentages in all three categories have improved this year.
But while Shannon Brown's confidence swells, Farmar's shrinks. I would say the same about Sasha, but I don't think that guy will ever stop shooting the ball, no matter how many consecutive shots he misses.

Rep Power: 14 | | Boozer had the game of his career and yet the Lakers only lost by 2 points. Considering the fact that Kobe shot horribly 5 for 24, game 4 I see the Lakers coming back and eventually winning the series in game 5.

| That's the way to look on the bright side.
Despite how badly the Lakers played, this was their game with a few defensive stops. A win would have pretty much ended it. I know the Lakers played bad, but the Jazz also had bad nights from Deron and Kyle Korver, who took a surprisingly high 13 shots. That's not always going to happen.
Only guy that probably deserves kudos for Game 3 for the Lakers was Odom, who had his third straight good game.
Anyone notice Farmar didn't even play.
