James, Wade, Bosh, Amare, Dirk, Johnson, etc. None of thema re coming to Minnesota.

That is the point.
I smell a sig bet.
I'll mediate
I know were not getting James or Wade. The others could be up for discussion. Ill have to look through and make a list of guys I think we could get.

Idea...come up with a list of all the FAs in 2010 and we can have a fantasy draft. Whoever has the most future TWolves wins. That at least gives you a fighting chance.

what will the sig be for the loser? Or is that to be determined later. This sounds interesting and i'm curious as to who mesa thinks the wolves will get.

I think Bosh is the best the Wolves can get but Ty started throwing out Nowitski and Amare...not that I would want them but we are going to have an assload of money. Yes I know a lot more teams than usual are going to but Wolves only have a couple players signed past 2010.

And Ty Im not sure how the "fantasy draft" would work.

Sig to be determined by winner. My idea is the player we sign in a wolves uni and saying Ty was wrong.

Zero chance is Wade or LeBron. I think chances are slim we get Bosh but to completely throw it out the window is a little ridiculous.

Why is it ridiculous? If he wants to play with a bunch of young guys why not stay put? Toronto can offer him more money. Minnesota has NOTHING to lure big time free agents. The wolves are not contenders yet, so we cant use that selling pitch. They have no superstars.(yes Big Al is close, but not there yet). So please answer why Minnesota is such a good selling point? The weather usually sucks for 7 months or so. I just dont get how or rather what is going to make bosh want to play here

We can offer boatloads of money. The weather sucks in a lot of places, including Toronto. We are a team on the brink, if you come to Minnesota, you can put us over the top and you can cement your legacy. Jesus Christ you guys act if Im trying to lure a guy to Iraq.

A fantasy draft would work as follows...

We get a list of the free agent class for 2010 and proceed taking turns selecting a player. Whoever has the most future TWolves wins. This gives you a better chance than say us just making a straight bet on whether or not Chris Bosh ends up on the TWolves.

What happens if you draft Chris Bosh and he signs as a Timberwolf?

Thats really not the point. Youre saying we wont get a big time FA, so why should you be rewarded if we do?

Well I wouldn't draft Chris Bosh. This idea is obviously way over your head. Just come up with your list and I'll come up with a sig you'll be sporting.
