What I think is insane, is how threatened so many people feel by the women's game.
On another note, the team I am playing in fantasy this week had Katie Smith go off for 30 pts for the Shock last night in Sacramento... sucks.

I'm sorry but when I was in high school my freshman basketball team played our girls varsity team, who was actually really good. And we destroyed them like 150-30. Keep in mind when youre a freshman in high school you're still pretty small and immature.
Regardless I'll take any 5 in the nba over any five in the WNBA. With all your rules and what not, but you need to keep in mind the height differential between the two. Centers in the WNBA are Point guards in the NBA. So Candace Parker would get owned.
The girls have skills no denying that but the fact is theyre still girls.

You are right though, I shouldnt be singling out an MNBA team in the argument. Sorry, but I just dont like the Spurs. I did back when Dave and Sean Elliot were there, but lately they have become the team everyone wants to hate and rightfully so with that crap they pull. They dont deserve championships, instead they deserve Academy Awards  | Only Spur who flops is Manu and a bunch of other teams have there own version of a flopper. Can't isolate that one totally on the Spurs. The Spurs need to get a little more ahtletic and younger...but flopping is not their problem. If the Lakers win 3 out of the next 5 championships...people will hate them too...and it won't have anything to do with flopping.
Back to the WNBA...that Candace Parker can flop on me anytime.

And they take it so seriously, if they could joke with themselves and know they are inferior it would be a lot more appealing. Also why they try and compete against the NBA is absolutely ridiculous. Their season should run from July-October. |

| I dont have a problem with a women. Got a wife and twin girls. But the league is inferior to men's, they score quite a bit less and its not due to defense, its because the lack of shooting skill. And to hear two guys talking seriously about an inferior sport is just absolutely hillarious to me. |

| News to me :? , because the Sparks/Mytics game I went to at the Verizon Center had a decent size crowd. Verizon Center was full except for the nose bleed sections.
