Rep Power: 21 | | They got Crawford and Teague to take his place.
They probably won't even make him an offer.

Rep Power: 27 | | The more I think about it, the more im ready to hopefully cut ties with Dalembert and just throw Speights at center... He is not smaller than Howard was coming into the league (maybe an inch) and he has a much better offensive arsenal already than Dwight. Obviously Dwight is about 15 pounds heavier now and he is one of the most athletic players in the league while also being the best post defender in the league. But if Speights spends this offseason gaining weight and strength, Id have no problem with Brand and Speights down low. Then id have no problem cutting ties with Miller for nothing and sending the MLE for Bibby.
And call me crazy, but i think the Princeton offense will suit Willie Green real well as a player off the bench.. As a whole, if the team learns the offense quick enough (Iguodala is already working on learning it right now) then we could be a very solid team. Watching games last year, I was convinced we never ran a play. It looked like street ball.

atta boy Speights... almost to Iverson status in FGA's..
from the reviews of the game online, it sounds like Jrue sucked on offense but was nasty on defense...
What needs to be noted is Mr Kurz had 4 turnovers and 6 fouls in 18 minutes... youd think the coaches would pull the cord on the Kurz Project.

I agree 100%, Miller is a good PG but damn man, we need someone to hit those 3's win needed. I'd would much rather have Bibby or Blake because they just fit better in the offense. Did you find this post awesome? Yes |

as for the pg situation. i really hope we can get bibby for a 2 year contract. we offered him a 1 and obviously he would be stupid to take that. but 2 years, we might be able to steal him. i think he is the guy we need to get though for this FA period. He will spread the floor for iggy and brand to get to the basket.
if we had 2 priorities this offseason it would be bibby and dalembert. get bibby, and dump dalembert... obviously Did you find this post awesome? Yes |

The reason the one year contract was offered was because next year teams are making room so more money will be thrown around.. If i were him, id actually consider that. Especially if he can play real well (which this system is something that would fit his style). What Bibby would do is bring a starting PG to this team and be able to help Jrue come along. Also, if we are playing a team with a Chris Paul or a Deron Williams, we have a defensive minded PG that can step in and give them hell.

Rep Power: 25 | | I hope Portland goes ahead and signs David Lee already. I feel like their Hedo and now Lee negotiations are holding up any potential sign and trade talks for Miller. I am really liking the idea of Miller for Blake and Webster...maybe even the rights to one of their foreign guys, they've got like a whole roster's worth of international talent overseas.

Rep Power: 27 | | I think in an attempt to lure Sixer fans to come to games, Stefanski bring in Iverson... And you know what, I would not be against the move..
"AI opens up. Allen Iverson, seeking a contract for the first time in his career, sat for an interview recently with his hometown paper, the Daily Press of Newport News, Va.
He told David Teel that he thinks he can play until he's 40 and that he only cares about being happy.
"Obviously, I want a championship," the 34-year-old Iverson said, "but I don't care about statistics anymore like I did when I was younger.
"I don't care about All-Star Games. I don't care about scoring titles, MVPs, none of that. I just want to play basketball, be effective and be happy. Be a great teammate.
"I don't even care about being dominant on the court like I used to be. I don't have any more individual goals. I've done basically everything you can do in a basketball game."
AI also said that he'd be happy to pay for the $2 million mid-level exemption and that money is not a factor.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out."
I think he can be a player that understands the city and the situation he is in and will become more of a complete player... And it never hurts to have a player that is always considered a threat on the perimeter... I would have no problem if they brought him in and said "listen, this is Iguodala's and Brand's team now so you need to understand that"...

Rep Power: 27 | | No, i do not want Iverson being the focal point of the team because then that causes chemistry problems and a big fucking headache in the locker room.
If its settled that Iverson can be a point guard and be a pass first, but still get his shots (just not 25), then we will be much better in my opinion... Ed needs to do something this offseason... fucking anything..

Rep Power: 7 | | real gm is saying the sixers are showing interest in bringing back Rodney Carney. He was young and Developing the first time around, I think he is a more comfortable/capable shooter now, I always liked his high motor.

Rep Power: 27 | | Andre Miller S&T for Chris Duhon and the Sixers are asking for more... Duhon had his best year overall last year. 7 assists, about 40% from the three.. 42% for FG, 11.1 ppg, 3 rpg.. Pretty solid numbers for a PG..
Only thing that sucks about him is thats another Dukie on our team and we all know NBA teams dont win with them
