Rep Power: 8 | | Yankees trade options? Who do you see the Yankees trying to trade for? I have heard many names like Torii Hunter, Craig Wilson, Craig Monoroe, Austin Kearns, Ken Griffey Jr., Shannon Stewart, Jeff Conine, Eric Byrnes, Brady Clark.
If I was Cashman I would go after Monroe or Stewart, possibly Clark or Byrnes if he didn't want to trade in the AL Did you find this post awesome? Yes |

Rep Power: 14 | | Depends on who they'd have to give up for one of those premier OF's. If they would have to give up one of their top prospects like Hughes or Cabrera, I would pass. If they can trade one of their extra starting pitchers (Wright, Pavano, Small....) to get a defensive specialist, that would be the ideal fit. I don't know how to gauge players' values though so early in the season. Did you find this post awesome? Yes |

Rep Power: 13 | | I don't think they will have much of a shot at any of those guys outside of Griffey. Mainly because they don't have much left to give up.

Rep Power: 14 | | They talked about it but I don't think they want to spend that much money on a guy with injury problems (I know it is the yanks we are talking about but hold back your laughter). I would like to keep Melky up for a while and see how he does. He was batting near 400 in the minors and he has a pretty good arm. We did lose two allstars but I would still say it is not time to panick.[/b] Did you find this post awesome? Yes |

Rep Power: 10 | | they could try and get delluci or victorino from the phillies. victorino has done well for them, even though they made the trade to get delluci as a 4th outfielder, victorino has taken that role most of the season, so philly might be willing to move delluci.

Rep Power: 21 | | the yanks don't have the ammo to make any of those movesno one wants their overpaid pitching and the yanks would be foolish to give up any of their three prospects Did you find this post awesome? Yes |

Rep Power: 14 | | They have plenty of prospects in the minors including one of the top pitching prospects so that is just something people in Boston like saying without really knowing what they are talking about. But they could easily move one of their overpaid pitchers because they would send cash to offset the salaries. Thats what texas did in trading a-rod to the yanks a few years back. Rep Power: 25 | | i'd think a pitcher like wright, small, pavano, or chacon for dellucci type deal makes a little sense for both teams. pretty good idea

Rep Power: 21 | | Yankee trade options...? The LEAGUE. Am I wrong on this? I think not. The world is their proverbial oyster if ownership, ala King George, wants to incur the luxury tax.

Rep Power: 19 | | I heard they may be looking at Bobby Abreu, and if so I think Philadelphia would listen to an offer, especially since they were looking to deal him in the off-season.

Rep Power: 8 | | Carlos Lee isn't going anywhere. He will sign a deal sooner or later with the Brewers. Also, do you actually think some other team would want Brady Clark with the way he is playing right now, he is complete garbage at the moment and trying to work his way out of his month and a half slump. If the skanks want to get an overpaid, over-rated OF sure, if they want a young guy like Cabrea, it's going to cost more than they have.

Rep Power: 25 | | "The New York Post reports that rumors around the Yankees trading for Alfonso Soriano are bound to happen now that the team lost Hideki Matsui (wrist) for three months. Soriano has shared his strong desire to return to the Yankees, where he played in his first few seasons before being traded for Alex Rodriguez. Washington GM Jim Bowden has indicated that his team is poor right now and a trade might be a good move. "
