Default Marlins to San Antonio?

It is a good possibility. San Antonio has said it will pay 200 million of the 300 million for a new stadium.

GOOD!

Texas is a good place for professional sports of any major league. I think it will be good for the Marlins to have a place where they can accually have more than one fan go to a game. Its a shame that a club with as much sucess as the Marlins have had over the years, have to suffer with the total lack of popularity of the Miami fans. For a city that likes to party you'd figure that they would like a teams dedicating to winning. Oh well... Now the team looks like a minor league club that is about to take their ball and run... Their loss...

I'm glad to hear that they are getting their own statium so that they can feel more at home verses sharing their aquarium with another fish.

This is the BEST move for the Marlins... WAY TO GO!!!

Can San Antonio support a professional baseball team? Why they have a baseball stadium in the state of Florida without a dome is beyond me.

Yes, the support the Spurs and San Antonio is like the 5th largest city so I think they can.
