Default Yankees Looking To Trade For Granderson

This would be a great great move

Yanks likely to target available Granderson

This move makes too much sense for NY. They'd finally have a capable CF and Granderson could go nuts hitting in that park with the short porch in RF. He'd also be able to hit down in their lineup which he is better suited for.

The Yanks SHOULD be willing to pony up the prospects on this one, IMO anyway.

The Yanks weren't willing to pony up for Santana, Halladay, etc... Highly doubt the player that swings that trend is Granderson... I love the New York post for their football coverage... but when it comes to baseball... they believe the Yankees and/or Mets will land everybody... I am not saying this isn't a smart move, or that they shouldn't do it (I really am not interested in him for Boston since we are grooming one of the best up and coming CFs in the game), but I would not consider the post a good source for Yankee rumors. Because basically what they do is say so and so will be in New York and then either praise cashman like he is Jesus for doing it, or scorn him like a baby killer for not doing it... they set themselves up to be the tough New York sports media (thank god there isn't big trade markets in the NFL, because then I would have to find a new football paper. )

I think it's a bad move. He's inconsistent as hell. And he runs extremely goofy.

he plays good D and is a threat on the bases. he'd be a solid fit in anyone's lineup.

it all depends on what the tigers ask for.

as for the nypost. i avoid everything they write.

He is way better than Gardner or Melky will ever be.
