Las Vegas, Nov 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) At the last week’s Latin Grammy Awards many musicians won many awards but the showstopper of the lot was Sammy Sosa with his skin akin to Michael Jackson. His pictures were clicked and they made numerous rounds of the Internet world with everybody wondering that, “What happened to Sammy Sosa?” In these photos, Sammy Sosa’s skin appears multiple shades lighter than usual, leading to all sorts of Internet speculation.
“He’s not trying to be Michael Jackson,” former Chicago Cubs employee Rebecca Polihronis, who talks frequently with Sosa, told the Chicago Tribune.
“He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of [the photo appearance] is just the lighting.” Polihronis said Sosa told her the photos are deceiving.
It is also being speculated by some fans have that Sosa’s rampant steroid use in the ’90s and 2000s could be the reason behind this.

The green contacts are truly disturbing, but I seriously doubt Sammy was the freakiest part of the Latin Grammy Awards.
