No, but i already have the iPhone paid off and would just convert it to an iPod. I welcome competition and certainly feel the iPhone could be so much more, so I'm intriqued by what the Droid can offer. Based on what I'm seeing, it frustrates me to see the iPhone lagging in technology.
Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is impressive, but things like MMS until the end of September, 3 Megapixel camera, inability to switch through multiple apps is what makes me look at other phones.
I'm not impressed by AT&T's rather weak 3G range either. |

| thats the other thing. Verizon blows where I live. A really big thing for me with the iphone is that i don't have to carry around a phone and ipod. I need to minimize the number of things I am likely to lose. |

i'm disappointed in my ATT service since in my apt, i have really crappy service in middle of NYC.
I had better internet/ phone service in the middle of water between cape cod and nantucket than I do in middle of NYC.
but still got another year on my ATT junk before i can swithc. |

Andriod is going to be a good operating system. I will get one when I have a free upgrade available.

| Techinically it should be, but it also has been around for a little bit and has gotten little traction.
By most accounts android should be the better phone OS (compared to iphone, W-mobile, BB, Palm), but for the vast majority of people they don't need or care to realize the difference.
I have an iPhone. I like it well enough. I think apple has done what apple does. Makes a product nice and pretty and easy to use - with limitations.
My service has been okay with AT&T, though I don't think their service is cable of handling all the iphone data that gets passed through - hence spotty service - especially on the 3G. I'm curious to see how Verizon's network would react to the same amount of attempted traffic.

Still like my BB Storm, but if I were to change, it would be Droid over iPhone for sure. |

It looks A LOT like the G1. I watched the videos from the site, it looks like a re-vamped G1......which isn't a bad thing.
