You're going between them if you tell him yourself, just in a different way. Fuck these different approaches. It's your boy, you can't do him dirty. Tell him the truth. If I was in his shoes, I would want my friends to tell me to have the upper hand and formulate some sort of game plan. This chick is a hoe, fuck the relationship. Save your friend before he gets in even deeper.

I've been in this position before. I say you still tell, because you ought to save the party who did nothing wrong. So maybe you're hurting the chick? So what... she's the one that screwed up. Yeah, it's a bad position to be put in, but nonetheless it's the right call to let your buddy know.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. She has to tell him or you do. Talk to her, give her a chance to tell him, if she doesn't after about a week it's up to you as his friend to tell him. His heart is going to be broken without a doubt, but it'll be even worse after the baby is born (hopefully) and he gets attached only to find out then.

Seriously, I had this happen to one of my closest friends in law school. His fiance cheated on him at a wedding I attended. I witnessed the mash session before the cheat and I debated on whether or not to tell him. I did - and the friendship was irreparably damaged. But, I do not regret that decision. He ended up marrying the cheating fiance too.

At a minimum, you can always take the neutral 'always get tested' approach. Unless they are engaged, that seems quite neutral to me.

I personally wouldn't wait long after you talk to her to tell him. If she is a really good lying bitch she will find a way to make it difficult for you to tell him. Not sure how smart she is....

Regardless there is no way you can't tell him, no matter if you are friends with everyone involved. If he is your best friend and you know something like her girl cheated, much less if a baby is involved, then you have to tell him. If you aren't going to tell him, you might as well try to get some from her too because you aren't really that good of friends.
