I usually don't make fantasy threads, but I really need an opinion on this one.

I am being offered Larry Johnson for Edge straightup.

What do you think? Should I get LJ or wait and see on Edge?

keep edge. Larry Johnson has bust written all over him. Arizona will actually be starting a real QB this week and that means Edge will need to run in order to ease the pressure off of Leinart.

get lj... edge has no line and hasnt done anything yet... i guess the same could be said about LJ...

but LJ is gonna come back and play much better.. i have more faith in him than i do in edge in Arizona... if anything, go against what mesa says... its more often than not incorrect

... and only that threadbearer's crack pipe says Leinert starts this week. What other basis, short of similar frustration that Steeler fans have with Big Ben after the Cincy loss, do you have for that 'prediction'? Are the Steelers starting Chaz Batch this week after Ben shit his pants?


I also totally agree on James. Take LJ in a heartbeat. Look at the first three week numbers and then the teams' respective lines. LJ is the horse that makes KC. The Edge is just one threat and a lesser one because his line is putrid.

You smoke crack! A real QB? How many games has he played in for you to say he is a "real QB"? LJ is a must. His oline may be a little weak but it is better than Edge's.

If anything, it makes him worse since in the enxt couple of weeks, teams will stuff the box and force Leinart to beat them.

Plus, to clear the air, if Green starts Leinert, Mesa should be arrested for possession with intent to deliver... clearly Denny would have been toking on Mesa's pipe if this happens... I realize Warner has been far from MVP but there is an even bigger gap between potential and performance, actual and speculation.

Leinert starting equals 9 in the box, and about 5 blitzing. How that helps Edge is a mystery. Leinert starting does not make the Red Bird line block.

Warner has 4 INTS and 8 Fumbles. A QB that can actually hold onto the ball is automatically going to make this team better. Warner was done about 3 years ago and should have retired before going to New York.
