This year can we instead of randomizing the player by names go around and nominate the players a month ahead of time. 25 each day but we go in order and nominate guys for slots. I think it might add a more realistic auction feel to it.

My suggestion for the way we do bidding is complete the draft over an 8 day span. Before we start assign each day to a divison for example Day 1- AFC East players, Day 2 NFC East players etc, etc. That way guys have an idea of what is to come.
I like my idea where leading up to the draft we all nominate players for each day
If there are 10 teams make it 30 players a day but we have it set up a month or so in advance for the actual 8 days bidding that way if we choose to over stack stars in one day it was our choosing.

Maybe we do a combination of the two, have a 10 day draft where 8 days are for each division and two days tat are for nominees.
The first thing to do is to see if there is enough interest out there to do the league. It is hard to get managers to commit to the long draft.
If we do this season we will also go with a traditional waiver wire instead of the auction as the auction becomes a nightmare to manage over the internet with so little time between games
