I agree with the FG scoring that was suggested as for the draft, I think the snake draft is the fairest way to do it, since that is what has been done in the past.
So what's the vote count at on the 4 vs. 5 keepers?
Personally, I thought 5 was too many. 4 gives the league enough parity that every season a team can, at it's base, be the same, but still different enough to have bad teams compete.
I'd be a beneficiary of having 5 keepers, but I'd rather have the league be balanced.
-- We will increase to 5 keepers.
-- QBs will now lose 1 point for INTs
-- "Keeper maximums" will now be 3 for WRs, 3 for RBs, and 1 for each position of QB, TE, K, and DEF.
-- All FGs will remain 3 points.
-- We'll keep with a snake draft in the summer.
And one that wasn't discussed but was referenced:
-- DEFs will now get 2 points for FF's and 1 for INTs, matching the QB/RB/WR/TE rules.
Initial 7 (yes, it increases with 5 keepers) lists due by Saturday, March 14th.
Yes. I just talked with Yankees and its been approved.
You'll be taking over Living's team. I'll get all of the teams posted here soon, but here was Living's final roster:
QB Cutler
WR Boldin
WR Owens
RB Kevin Smith
RB McFadden
TE Keller
RB McClain
TE Scheffler
WR Ginn Jr.
WR Jenkins
TE Owens
WR Avery
RB Jamaal Charles
QB Tarvaris Jackson
QB Eli Manning
No kicker and no defense
If you have any questions on the rules and such, just let me know!
WR Steve Smith, Carolina
WR TJ Houshmandzadeh, Seattle
RB Thomas Jones, NYJ
RB Pierre Thomas, NO
RB Ronnie Brown, MIA
RB Clinton Portis, WSH
Pittsburgh DEF
My RBs are open for trade, although I'd like to wait until after initial 7's are in so that I can look to trade for or with draft picks.
A 2 for 1 deal to upgrade a position is not out of the question, however.
Does anyone have our final rosters? I can't get on YAHOO! to see mine to make cuts,...
